2008 Domestic Work Team Trip:

Galilean Home

Liberty, Kentucky

This year the Galilean Home in Liberty Kentucky was selected as the domestic destination.  This is a Christian Orphanage for disabled children as well as a home for prison babies - babies born to women in the nearby prison. This trip will be 1 week long in August 2008

The goals on the trip were to:

  • Winterize/insulate existing building

  • Painting, drywall etc

  • Up-keep on cabin

  • Possibly work with children and/or domestic duties

  • Estimated cost - $200-$350
